Auswide Bank Ltd (formerly known as Wide Bay Australia) is an Australian financial institution with branches and agencies across Queensland and customers throughout Australia. It employs around 250 people and offers a broad range of personal and business banking products including savings, transaction and pension accounts, self managed superannuation funds, personal and business loans, car loans, mortgage lending, lines of credit, overdrafts, term deposits and financial advice. It also offers platinum rewards MasterCard, low rate credit cards, Visa debit cards, travel money and foreign exchange, online banking, mobile banking app as well as home, car, caravan, trailer, boat and travel insurance, business and farm insurance, commercial vehicle and equipment finance and other related services. The company was previously known as Wide Bay Australia (the largest building society in Queensland) and received its current name in 2015. Auswide Bank merged with Queensland Professional Credit Union (traded as Your Credit Union) in May 2016. For the year ended June 30, 2023, the Bank had net profit after tax of $25 million, interest revenue of $190 million, total assets of $5.1 billion, customer deposits of $3.4 billion, loan book of $4.4 billion and total equity of $294 million. Auswide Bank shares are traded on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), with a market capitalization of $205 million as of March 28, 2024.
