Heritage Isle Credit Union was the largest credit union in Tasmania with more than 7,000 members and $100 million in assets. In May 2018, it merged with Police Bank and today operates as Bank of Heritage Isle.
Connect Credit Union of Tasmania, headquartered in Hobart, merged with Island State Credit Union in 2007. It offered bank accounts, deposit products, home and personal loans, car loans, insurance, internet banking and other services.
Credit Union of Tasmania, established in 1969, merged with Island State Credit Union Co-operative Society in 1986.
MyState Financial Credit Union of Tasmania merged with Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees Ltd in 2009.
Teachers Police & Nurses Credit Union of Tasmania, established in 1990, merged with Savings and Loans Credit Union Cooperative in 1998.
