Revolut Australia is part of the Revolut group, a global fintech with more than 40 million personal and business customers. The company offers a range of multi-currency accounts, debit cards, fee free ATM withdrawals, financial super app and credit and personal lending products to more than 300,000 clients in the local market. It also offers stock trading, commodities exchange service (purchase or sell gold and silver) and cryptocurrency trading (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Ripple, Stellar, Solana and other crypto tokens). Revolut was launched in beta phase in Australia in 2019 and received its Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) in April 2020. It also was granted an Australian Credit Licence in 2022 and recently submitted an application to become an authorised deposit-taking institution. Revolut Payments Australia Pty Limited operates as a subsidiary of Revolut Ltd (UK).
