Bankstown City Credit Union

Bankstown City Credit Union Ltd (BCCU) is an authorized deposit taking institution (ADI) subject to regulation under the Banking Act 1959. The company provides a wide range of services to personal and business customers. It offers savings and investment accounts, home and personal loans, credit and debit cards, overdrafts, business lending, business accounts, financial planning as well as internet banking, telegraphic transfers, travellers cheques and foreign currency. BCCU's insurance products include home, contents and compulsory third party insurance (known as CTP Greenslip) as well as travel, landlords, car, boat, caravan, trailer and loan repayment coverage. Bankstown City Credit Union was established in 1965 as a credit union for Bankstown City Council staff. As at June 2016, it had $166.7 million in total assets, $142.7 million in deposits and $133.6 million in loans to members.

In June 2017, Bankstown City Credit Union (BCCU) became a subsidiary of Unity Bank Ltd and changed its name to Bankstown City Unity Bank.
